# Garden gnomes freak me out... yea

I was just talking to my friend about this. She thinks this is ridiculous… but I get weird about garden gnomes.

They freak me out and I can’t explain it. I might attribute it to that old Nickelodeon show David the Gnome (there were some creepy moments), or, of course, ‘Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes’ Goosebumps book/tv episode- which had a couple scary as heck moments, like just [the look](https://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/goosebumps/images/b/bd/Revengeoflawngnomes_06.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20111209213329) of these things.

There’s something eerie about these hairy, blank ‘protectors’. Besides, I’d rather have a real thing like [Bigfoot](http://bigfootbase.com/shop/bigfoot-gifts-merchandise/sasquatch-statues) watching my garden :). I’d take a silhouetted cowboy at that.
