Yes white people use the state against black people. They also have no problem using the state against other whites. The trumpeting of these stories is blatant confirmation bias. ---

[Good news](https://www.metrotimes.com/table-and-bar/archives/2018/10/18/detroit-judge-tosses-gardening-while-black-case-brought-by-three-white-women); the judge tossed the case out with something called a “[directed verdict](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verdict#Directed_verdict)”, which I gather is basically “The truth is so clear that no reasonable person can disagree”.
