After reading this, I know why they don’t allow us to pump our own gas in Jersey – with the fine reputation our state holds, they probably figure enough folks are packing that it’s better off for all involved if they keep us inside our cars while at the pumps :D. Of course, now I am wondering about the only other state with such a law: Oregon. What’s up with that? ---

These people definitely were dicks. But don’t you live in St. Louis, **Dooku**? Seems pretty much par for the course out there to my recollection. 🙂 Just out of curiousity, how can a car horn honk “even louder”? All mine have been one volume only. 🙂 ---

People are really slow at a number of tasks. Sometimes, I want to grab people and throw them aside. We all feel like this from time to time. However, the true assholes pout, cry and kick…and then lose track of just what it is they are miserabe about. (maybe that they are just losers), and then we run into these hammerheads bitching and moaning about everything. Usually, the root of the problem is that the sorry sack of shit who is impatient and late can point to him/her self for the miserable position they find themselves in. ---

Heh. My friend that lives across the apartment complex got in a wreck at a gas station recently. He drives a Jetta, and was pulling into a pump when this huge effin’ truck just backed right into his fender and crunched in a good part of one of his side panels. Guy went ballistic on my friend (I don’t think it hurt his truck at all) and they exchanged insurance info. After Friend took it to the insurance companies, he found out that the guy told his insurance company it was Friend’s fault. Why? Because my friend’s car is TOO SMALL. Apparently you aren’t liable if you just blindly plow into a vehicle smaller than yours. And Jetta’s aren’t even _that_ small as little cars go. I had almost the exact same thing happen to my little Tercel when I still had it, but at least the driver just admitted Hey, he didn’t see me parked there and it was his fault. :dubious: My boyfriend has gotten in so many almost-wrecks from clusterfucks at the gas station. I blame the car companies that can’t decide what side they want the nozzle on. ---

My truck broke down on a city street in Philadelphia about a month ago. People yelled and cursed at me. No one stopped. Apparently, I was rude to fall victim to a random disabling of my vehicle. My wife drives a Jetta. I guess I’ll get her one of those big tall yellow flags so that no one backs over her hood at a gas station. ---
