Rules: **Gato** was a jerk and violated rules about body comments. **Gato** got warned. Rules: **Fruitbat2** flagrantly broke the “don’t call troll” rule and then copped to being a sock I mentioned “suspension hammer” no differently than predictions of banning are done regularly. Not sure why you are choked - but it sure isn’t for me arguing with **Gato** ’s warning because I haven’t said jack about it. ---

With ‘boobygate’ related moderation specifically, I just wasn’t certain if mods were interested in context or intent or were enforcing a sort of “HR in the workplace” approach to women’s threads where no matter what the intentions or context behind it there is simply zero tolerance for any comment that might offend someone or seem too familiar. ---

By odd coincidence, this just showed up in my Facebook feed: [Men Read Mean Tweets to Female Sports Reporters - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEfjTfYlFpc) Men read nasty comments to women How timely. Yes, the “boob job” comment was very mild in comparison but it is on the same spectrum as these. I don’t post on news comments, video comments or anything that could possibly draw the attention of men like the ones who have made these comments because the reality of women on the internet and social media is that someone posting “I hope you get raped” is a very real concern. Those of you complaining about someone getting called out for “boob job” are sticking up for these men. You might think “oh come on, “boob job” isn’t as bad”. Isn’t it? Isn’t it born of the same disregard and disrespect for your mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, grandmas, aunts and friends? Be on the right side of decency. ---

Choked? I had to look that up. Okay, you weren’t complaining about **Gato** ’s warning. My bad. I had you confused with **octopus**. You’re not a “sock” if you freely admit that you set up another account because you forgot your previous username. The SDMB already has a policy in place such situations; the accounts are simply merged. Your portentous warnings of imminent suspension were, at a minimum, incorrect. As **Fruitbat2** accurately noted, she is not a sock and you are not a moderator. ---
