This ain’t no rant, but it’s about moderation of the board. Without taking anything away from other capable staff, I just want to say that Gaudere’s insight and maturity are absolutely remarkable for a woman of her age and limited life experience. She made the right call again this time. Franklin Phelps, or whatever his name was, was nothing more than a blight on Great Debates. Lest anyone think I’m sucking up, I’ve been on the ass-end of more than one judgment call by her. Gaudere, here’s hoping that life measures to you the same fairness you measure to others. You’re my role model at PF.

Your hardon for **Lib** still needs exercising, **Desmo**?
This aint the first public recognition of moderator excellence, and I hope it’s not the last. They don’t get enough of them. Email kudoes are nice, too, but they’re kinda hard for everyone else to read, so when you want to **publically** compliment a person, it’s more efficient to do it in… y’know… public. Just like the way you spit on **Lib**. I’m sure you could do that via email, but it just isn’t as satisfying, is it?

Just to (hopefully) stop this from derailing into something about me, I want to give Gaudere credit for something else as well. It is she through whom I have grown most from this board — including spiritually. It was her example that prompted the revelation to me that the difference between theists and atheists is mere intellectual trivia as insignificant as the atoms. If heaven does not include her spirit, then God is evil.

I have no idea if Lib’s talking about [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=244606&page=3&pp=30) or [this one](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=244614&page=2), or both, but that’s what I found when I looked to see wtf the OP was talking about. I’m not sure why banning neo-nazis is cause to give a get-into-Heaven-free card, as opposed to banning your average troll or sock.

I don’t post in GD too much (basically I’m a big proponent of speaking only of that which you know), but I do read it a lot. I will concur; **Gaudere** shows remarkable wit, tact, and a keen intellect.
Plus she’s super cute and she loves BBQ 🙂 Brains, looks, and a discerning palate, what’s not to like?

He was a troll, and he did have at least one sock. Also, it seemed to me that he was trying to stir up a board war. They don’t care for that around here.

Back in 2000 when the board still had the ability to embed images **Gaudere** said she was going to post a picture in a black string bikini.
She never did, thus denying the loyal SDMB readership of the culmination of the ultimate fusion between brains and babeosity that was promised.
I feel that this thread is innapropriate and that all praise should be withheld until this egregious oversite is corrected.
