Relevant for two reasons to the above: Michael Caine was on a talk show once and he told a story about when he and Sean Connery were shooting _The Man Who Would Be King_ in Morocco back in the 70s. One night they went out to dinner at a popular nightspot, each in his own car with his own driver (since they couldn’t legally drive in Morocco). After dinner the dance floor of the place filled, but only with men, though they were dancing in pairs. Connery asked why and was told that it was illegal for men and women to dance together in a public place in Morocco. After a while Connery said “That music is too catchy… I’m going to go dance.” Then he asked Caine’s driver “You want to dance with me?” to which the guy said “Sure” and he and Connery danced for a long time on the floor, Caine and Connery’s driver later joining them on the floor. After they were back at the hotel Caine asked Connery “So why did you spend the night dancing with _my_ driver instead of yours?” Connery: “My driver’s ugly.” ---
