# Gay, Straight or Taken anyone?

Anybody catch this on Monday? I think there’s an encore presentation tomorrow night. It’s on Lifetime. Building on the fine traditions of Boy Meets Boy and Playing it Straight, GST features a woman sent on a group date with three men. One of the men is available, one is str8 and taken and one is gay. She has to pick one and if he’s the available straightie they win a vacation. If she picks one of the other two then he wins the trip with the partner of his choice.
On the one hand, as soon as the woman finds out the game her strategy instantly changes from “pick the guy I like” to “pick the available one so I don’t look dumb on TV” and so far the women have relied on the basest stereotypes in trying to figure out who’s who. On the other hand, three hot guys per ep makes for good eye candy. I have a feeling the show will end up on my “watch it if it’s on and I think about it but feel kind of icky about it after” list.

I wouldn’t worry about the ick factor so much. I’m pretty sure that the concept is going to get old really quick.
