0% Damn an I boring. I always get zero or negative on those tests. I’m not sure many people could get a zero if they kept taking the tests trying to answer that way. ---

Well, it says I’m 56% and a well-adjusted hetero babe. spark says I’m 28% and below average gayness for women. Why is it that gayness for women seems to be measured on how good you are at sports or the fact that you don’t wear “typically women’s” clothing? ---

Hmm, only 63% percent gay. I wonder what I’m doing wrong. It isn’t like I ever shag chicks. I suspect the test equates homosexuality with effeminacy, disregarding that there are legions of masculine men who fancy other men. ---

Okay, I got two different results here. First test: 66% gay. The site crashed on me, but there was some comment about being straight-laced but women having crushes on me or something. (Yeah, heterosexual female here.) Second test: 22% gay. Less gay than 80% of people of my gender and sexual orientation. Okay, something’s up here, besides the fact that I doubt either test measures some profound aspect of “gayness.” ---

In my time as a programmer I’ve done a few “tests” like these. Some are based on a genuine theory, some are just made up by some guy on the spur of the moment, others just return a random result in an attempt to look intelligent. I think the best one I did though, in this case “How Stupid are You”, was designed to take advantage of the way these tests often tend to get passed around in an office. The first time it received a visit from a specific IP address (i.e. from one company / site usually) it would log it, ask some vague questions, then pronounce the user to be a little bit stupid. Thereafter each successive visitor from that address would be given a higher stupid rating until they reached 100%. Hopefully by that time it’d been passed up to CEO level (well, one can hope 🙂 ). For the record, according to Channel 4, I’m 36% gay in this case. ---

I scored 60% The questions about redecorating and material possessions did me in. Never had a great deal of interest in objects or clothes, no matter how much they cost.
