The Game Developers Conference is in San Francisco this coming week. I’m packing my bags to catch a flight tonight. Is anybody else from the Dope going?

I’ve gone in a few years past, but I probably won’t make it this year. I can sometimes get badges through work, though, so if I do manage to stop by for a day or two I’ll give you a buzz!

I’m giving a talk on Thursday and hearing pitches from a bunch of developers. And Sony (my employer) has a pre-convention convention that I’ll be at for the next two days.

I would be quite eager to hear news from the GDC, if you’d care to share with us, **THK**. I understand that this year is going to be quite a bit different from previous years.

The only news I have so far is that GamerGate has been flooding the #GDC2015 hashtag with demands for “ethics in game journalism”. I’m not sure how annoying developers encourages ethics in game journalism, but there it is.

I’m done with the Secret Sony Sessions so tomorrow I can go to the main conference. If I see anything cool, I’ll post about it.
