‘It’s so easy to use geico-dot-com, a caveman could do it!’ ‘What? Not. Cool!’ ‘I’m sorry… I didn’t know you were there. We could change it…’ Later, in an elegant flat, three cavemen are relaxing when the commercial comes on. ‘That is _so_ condescending.’ I like this commercial. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because the caveman is so well done. Maybe it’s because it shows a film crew (I’ve been a grip). Whatever it is, it strikes me funny. ---

I feel that these commercials trivialize the very real problems and discrimination cavemen face in society. ---

I love them too and the closest I’ve ever come to being on a film crew is being on local broadcast television. Geico commercials are cool. ---

It just cracks me up how the announcer says “I didn’t know you were THERE!!!” ---

I hate these. If only Phil Hartman were alive, they could have used his Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer character. At least we’re seeing fewer of the gecko ads. ---

I miss the gecko driving into his “Employee of the Month” parking space in his tiny red sports car, rockin’ out. That cracked me up every damn time. ---
