# Gen Xers and older millennials really just want to go back in time to before the internet existed

No, wasn’t that. Although that is a perfectly good way to budget basic expenses. This was about a generation who didn’t know how much money they actually had.

If you listen to the Chainsmokers, it might be the younger generation that wishes they could turn back time to the good old days, building treehouses while being sung to sleep. (Song hit Billboard #2 in 2015).

I really think most people in most generations don’t understand budgeting. So… business as usual.
