I was not serious with my analogy, but I wasn’t making light of your complaint. I found the dualing restaurant-as-message-board analogies funny (“no, it’s like you go into a restaurant and a waiter says your table has too many personal insults so he moves it to a different section”), and was making light of them. ---

If that is the case, then this board is well and completely fucked. Greathouse was suspended for breaking the rules in a quest to be banned before his subscription ran out. Little Danny just happened to be the last one he interacted with. Greathouse wasn’t banned for Danny or because of Danny. Therefore, Danny making it a point to thank the mods for it can only be construed as sucking up. A better analogy would be that Danny is like that little apple-polishing bastard that we all knew back in elementary school. Teacher just sent a disruptive kid out of the room and now Danny tries to curry a little favor by telling teacher what a darned swell thing she just did and how very, very thankful he is. There were real benefits of being a teacher’s pet back in primary school, I wonder what LHOD thinks is going to happen here? Will the moderators keep the rest of us in during recess while he alone gets to go out and play on the swings? I’ve always thought Danny was a pretentious, therapizing, self-righteous little shit-stain. Now I think he is a toadying lickspittle as well. ---

But all such phrases insinuating death are against SD rules. So at least a warning was called for. Saying “Will you just die allready” may make you sound like a petulent teen, but it would also be against board rules as far as I can see no matter how obviously it was not a serious threat. That said Admin and mods have leeway with regards to all such rules. So hopefully I won’t get banned for saying I wish it was 2300 AD. Even though that effectively wishes all board members and myself were dead. ---
