Just because you ‘generally’ think that the mods do a good job doesn’t mean that you need to defend their every action when they get called on it. Personally, I think that, in general, the mods do a good job. It’s just that when something happens where either a mod or an admin fucks something up, there’s never an apology or a retraction. Seems to me that 99.9% of the time, it just gets ignored until everyone shuts up about it. ---

Since things are being tallied, here, I figured I’d stand up and be counted. I: [ul] [li]generally find **Catsix** abrasive and am frequently irritated by the bitter, angry tone I perceive in her posts[/li][li]am perfectly willing to believe I would love her in real life, but expect to keep disliking her here[/li][li]believe **TubaDiva** was _waaaay_ out of line in her responses to **HeyHomie** and **Catsix** and owes **Catsix** an apology[/li][li]do not expect that any such apology will be forthcoming[/li][li]tend to find myself agreeing with mod/admin actions and appreciating their participation as both posters and board police[/li][li]believe that even moderators whom I generally like and agree with are subject to the occasional lapse of judgement and that a public _mea culpa_ in those cases is both appropriate and beneficial to the continued smooth functioning of the community[/li][li]believe that **TubaDiva** has consistently and unrepentantly conducted herself in an unprofessional manner and is not fit to continue serving as an Administrator of this board[/li][li]don’t expect **TubaDiva** to be relieved of her responsibilities[/li][li]don’t plan to stop participating in this community just because I find the actions of one of its administrators unacceptable to me.[/li][/ul] Golly! My first list, I believe. And not even a Hi!Opal. ---

This is a really fun thread, made me laugh out loud a few times. I hate to pile on but I agree that an apology is owed to catsix and that TubaDiva is way over her head as an Admin. I say keep paying Tuba for keeping up the website and relieve her of her Admin duties. She simply doesn’t have a clue. I should add that I like catsix a lot. ---
