Unless I’m mistaken, T.J. Hooker and Dynasty were on the same network, ABC. I don’t believe that T.J. Hooker and Dynasty ran concurrently (or that Locklear’s roles were concurrent), but I could be wrong about that.

Shouldn’t the question be “Why did the camera stay on Carlton Fisk waving his home run fair, and not follow the flight of the ball?”

Anyway, if I’m not mistaken, the answer is:

Because the cameraman was distracted by a bee. (I think it was a bee)

(Kinsey beat me to question 59.)

1. The announcers on _America’s Funniest Home Videos_ (with Bob Saget only) were the late Ernie Anderson, and Gary Owens.
2. Kelcey Grammer does the voice for Sideshow Bob, the prison inmate who has a cultured background and a hairdo that looks like a red palm tree. 😃
3. The Italian shoemaker who won big on _The $64,000 Question_ was Gino Prado. (Nobody noticed he was only asked about _Italian_ opera.) I think he died about 25 years ago. ☹
4. Ray Jenkens was the moderator in the Army-McCarthy hearings in the early 50s.
5. Judge Judy’s bailiff, is “Byrd Petrie-Wilkins,” I think. (I just don’t know the last part of his name.)
6. The game-show host who said he would fire his staff if they made him a subject on his own show was Ralph Edwards, who hosted _This Is Your Life._
Some new questions:
7. What was the name of the announcer on _Days of Our Lives,_ who also acted in the serial?
8. Jack Narz, whose series _Dotto_ was involved in the big game show scandals in the 50s, has a brother who hosted at least two other game shows himself. Name him and the shows.
9. What dramatic series hostess had the opening part of her episodes omitted from its reruns in the early 70s because they were dated?
10. Leo Carrillo played Pancho, the sidekick on _Cisco Kid._ What other distinction did he have, and how old was he when the series started on TV?
11. Which of the following did _not_ appear as a guest villain on the _Batman_ series in the 60s?
a. Lee Meriwether; b. Victor Borge; c. Tallulah Bankhead; d. Liberace
12. What problem faced Richard Nixon when he appeared with John F. Kennedy in the 1960 debates?

His refusal to wear makeup, when combined with the lighting and his tendency toward five-o’clock-shadow, resulted in his looking bad (physically) in comparison to the tan and youthful Kennedy.

The answer is a. Lee Meriwether played Catwoman in the theatrically-released Batman movie, produced by the same people as the TV show (and also starring Adam West and Burt Ward), but she never played Catwoman in the series proper.

Five o’clock shadow, plus I think he was visibly sweating.

The Jack Narz question is on the tip of my tongue. When I hear the answer I’ll smack myself and say “of course!”

No takers? Geez.
72. Downey wrote “Money, Marbles and Chalk” in the 50s. (“My money won’t spend, my marbles won’t roll, and my chalk won’t write any more.”) His parents thought he was crazy, but the song did get played on radio at the time. I know–I heard it.
73. He hosted _High Rollers,_ for one.
74. Alan Reed. (In the early years, the Flintstones characters did commercials for Winston cigarettes!)
