Many people believe that Sarah Palin actually claimed to be able to see Russia from her house. In actuality, it was Tina Fey doing a spoof of Palin who made that claim on Saturday Night Live. But hey, satire is more important than facts. ---

I have repeatedly debunked the one about the “space pen”. The story about how NASA supposedly spent a million dollars to develop a pen that would work in zero-g,while the Russians just used pencils. Not true at all. And there are good reasons to not use pencils in zero-g. Break off the tip and it floats behind a control panel… Yet it persists. ---

Two ones I’ve heard from people in all seriousness: Nicole Brown Simpson was not killed by OJ. A woman in Florida was found dead killed the same way. Lacy Peterson was killed by a cult that steals babies to either sacrifice them to the devil or sell them on the black market. Or maybe both. ---
