Good food, shut up and eat it. People were scared crapless once that eating a Tomatoe would kill them. It didn’t. Corn and wheat are hybrids of maze and wild seeds. They haven’t turned you into a pumpkin. Worry more about how corporations will find a way to screw you out of more money for the cheaper, better product.

When you consume a steak, do you grow udders and give milk? You absorb the DNA in the meat.
When you eat a tomato do you turn red and squish a lot? You absorb the DNA in the flesh.
When you eat honey, do you buzz and fly around? Honey never goes bad, so it must be pretty resilient, and you consume the DNA in the stuff.
When you eat fish, do you smell bad after two days? You absorb the DNA in the flesh.
Your mouth contains a mild acid which starts the chemical decomposition of food. Your stomach contains a stronger acid which completes most of the decompensation. Your intestines contain enzymes and bacteria which further wreck the stuff. Not much that can harm you gets through that gauntlet.
You eat genetically enhanced foods now, only they’re called crossbreeds. People in the past ate Mules when starving and a Mule is a genetic combination of Horse and Donkey and none of them either developed hooves or huge ‘things’ 'tween their legs.
Do you like to eat Corn Nuts? Those huge kernels of Corn? Think about where they came from.
If DNA could change things easily, you’d not be walking on two feet, looking out of two eyes nor typing with 10 fingers, but probably be a shapeless lump of mixed protoplasm soaking up the sun and deciding which patch of slime tastes better.
