Because, you know, that kinda stuck out to me, being right there in the Alignment part of my PM. ---

NETA, and, if you actually looked at your Role PM, was your alignment very clear? I mean, I had to go back and check the opening post to make sure that I was Town. My alignment sounded so dang scummy. Raftdwelling Slumlords is not a very pleasant sounding thing. ---

Yes, I noticed yesterday which team I was on. (It’s the good guys, I promise!) And then I forgot which name went with which faction today. When I went back to the original post, I misread the sample PM and thought the Alliance were the bad guys. ---

[ol] [li]I read it[/li][li]I went to be sure I was Town[/li][li]I was Town[/li][li]I didn’t forget my name[/li][li]I certainly didn’t forget it enough to be completely confused when faced with it in the Day 1 opening post when it showed up again just as it was in my PM.[/li][/ol] Now, had I never seen it before, I might have thought it was a second Scum faction. It sure looks Scummy to someone who didn’t really need to notice it. And Town really needed to notice it because no where in my role PM does it say Town. That’s one reason why it stuck out. It meant I had to KNOW that the Consolidated Association of Raftdwelling Slumlords was Town. If I didn’t KNOW that, I didn’t know I was Town. So you’re telling me that you did know it, but then you forgot, and when exposed to the name again, it didn’t ring any bells but immediately made you think of another enemy of the Town. Is that your story? ---

:smack: Yes, it rang a bell. That’s why I went and checked. And when I read the rules post, I misread it and thought it was the scum team. So, since I now thought that the scum team was called the alliance, I figured that was why it rang a bell. ---

Strange that you forgot how Scummy your own Town team name sounded, especially the very memorable Raftdwelling Slumlords part. How, after investigating the name to discover your own Towniness, it completely slipped out of your mind. Me, it stuck in my head as “Wow, that’s perhaps the Scummiest sounding Town name I’ve ever seen! and Raftdwelling Slumlords. WTF is that?” but I guess we’re different. ---

It just worries me that **Astral** could forget his alignment and is it possible that there is a third faction? Ok, to my answer my own question, it is possible but is it likely?
