# Gentlemen and Ladies: Let's talk men's facial hair styles.

Full beard for me. Trimmed to #3 or #4 during the summer, but now that hunting season is upon us, and the weather grows colder with each day, It’s being grown out to about 2" from the chin, tapered back to the sides (shorter near the ears, pointy at the bottom).

My wife has never seen me without a beard, and gets VERY angry if I even joke about removing it. When I traveled, I used to joke that I’d remove it on the way home, then crawl into bed late at night when I returned, and rub my chin against her. It was more likely that I’d get a Maglight to the head, so I never followed through with the threat.

I used to sport a full beard, but after I started shaving my head several years ago, I have switched to a goatee. I keep it trimmed short, and dye it on occasion. 😃

I’ve had a full beard since I was 17. I keep it trimmed to #4, and shave my neck twice a week. I have occasionally wondered what I look like underneath it, but I have a feeling I’d freak my friends out, none of whom have ever seen me without it. I wear it because I like it and I think it looks good.
