# Geocaching

Anyone here do geocaching?

It’s a sort of treasure hunt. People hide caches and then post the GPS coordinates on the above site, along with clues as to where to find the cache once you get there.

The caches usually contain a notebook and small trinkets. For some, you sign the notebook, take a trinket, and leave a different trinket. Others follow different rules. There are ‘travel bugs’ - trinkets whose locations are being tracked from cache to cache.

Mrs. Mancer and I were hoping to go on our first expedition this weekend, until [Amazon.com](http://Amazon.com) realized the GPS device I ordered was NOT in stock after all. So it looks like next weekend will be the date.

Anyone else out there doing this? You can check on the above site to see how many caches are registered near you.
