oh, I should add- some contributors are recompensated for those contributions - their bosses use the ploy to avoid the soft money caps. So you’d give $1000, and your boss would cut you a check next week for it. ---

I’ve gotten those envelopes also. Believe me, stamping “Do not fold, presidential photo enclosed” is not going to entice me to open the fucking thing. It gives me great glee to rip them in half while growling “fuck you, you chimp motherfucker” just before chucking them in the recycle bin. Recycling something from the Republican Party also gives me great pleasure in the irony of it all. ---
