As long as he’s already messed with them, he _really_ needs to go back and redo the “Special Editions” with modern technology. George clearly got _super_ excited about **Jurassic Park** -level CGI in the mid-90s and he made the changes too early; the added CGI _really_ looks like shit. Jabba the Hutt in **Star Wars** and the sarlacc in **Jedi** are particularly shitty; the old rubber teeth sarlacc in the original looked better (and they still didn’t even fix that!). ---

They’ve done to death the whole prequel thing… surely a complete _remake_ of the original movies can’t be far off? ---

If Disney actually let George make it himself, _Star Wars Episode 4.1: A New and Improved Hope_ would be at least three-and-a-half hours long. A solid hour of that would be Han Solo and Greedo in a knock-down, drag-out, no-holds-barred fight to the death, on top of some kind of tall building. In the rain. At the end, Greedo would slip over the edge and be hanging on by his fingers. Solo would be all noble and yell “Take my hand, Greedo!” but instead Greedo would try to stab him with a little teeny-tiny miniature light saber or something like that, causing Greedo to plummet to his doom in a classic [Disney Villain Death](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DisneyVillainDeath). ---

he sold the company but he was consulted on plans for episode 7 and they did not use his ideas. After that he probably does not want to work with Disney ---

Personally, although I love Lucas and Lucasfilm, he needs to move on.
