I can’t believe I’m the only one who picks Bush. But only against Old Hitler. Young hitler was fresh from WWI. The warfare was atrocious and often hand to hand. Well, today in a [Cafe Society thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=196757), I learned that [Stalin would whomp on Hitler](http://www.comics.aha.ru/rus/stalin/1.html) superhero-style. Based on that, I think Bush could take Hitler easy – Hitler’s clearly a total pussy. Now, Bush vs. Stalin? Tougher question. Bush is in better shape, but he can’t shoot power beams out of his hands (or can he…?) ---

M. Moore is damaged goods basically. He’s a minimally talented, emotionally immature, insignificant film hobbyist that is intent on foisting his skewed views on people. In other words - a jerk. GWB is also imperfect in some ways (just like everybody else) but any comparison to Hitler is extremely ignorant. He’s a good man. Oddly, liberals, democrats, socialists, anarchists, etc. don’t seem to care for him. ---

Sure, Fleischer is about as intimidating as Stephen Hawking when it comes to fisticuffs, but Goebbels would likely get his ass kicked by Alfalfa (even if he’s not prepared). In the middle of the fight Rommel would lose concentration, thinking “maybe this isn’t such a good idea” and then Franks would get in a couple of good sucker punches. Hitler was appointed by President von Hindenberg after the old fellow was assured that the cabinet around him would keep him in check. Germany had gotten to the point of revolving-door governments, ruled by Presidential decree before Hitler had gained power. It was already a dictatorship, regardless of what it claimed to be on paper. Thus, for Bush to have gained power as Hitler did, that would have meant that Clinton had been ruling like a dictator previously and had then essentially appointed him (since Hitler was appointed Chancellor at the request of his predeccesor). Is that what you are saying happened? Do you really think that is what happened? ---
