If Zimmerman ever viewed the shooting as unfortunate, that feeling seems to have been buried under his anger at people for judging him and his desire to make money from the group of right-wingers who decided he was a hero. ---

Most of us were more in Alan Dershowitz’s camp. There was never enough evidence to try him for 2nd degree murder and the prosecutor committed legal malpractice. Then at the last minute they spring manslaughter on him in a desperate effort to get him for something. We also thought the media coverage was ridiculous. The media desperately needed him to be white, otherwise it wasn’t a story. Because we all know that if there was no white-black angle, Trayvon Martin was just another statistic. Those kinds of shootings are quite common. ---

George Zimmerman has agreed to [step into the ring](http://www.uproxx.com/webculture/2014/01/george-zimmerman-celebrity-boxing-sign-up/) for a few rounds against another celebrity to raise money for charity. I would imagine there are a few NFL linemen that would pay money to get in a punch or two. 😃 ---

As if we didn’t already know this, Zimmerman is one messed-up Mo Fo. As someone already pointed out, his claim to fame is killing another human being, and getting away with it. He should just go quietly into that dark night and hope nobody recognizes him. But no, he wants to immerse himself into this kind of circus. Money must be enormous to even consider such stupidity. ---
