So has everyone been properly sidetracked? I hear that George “Thug Life” Zimmerman has been arrested for throwing a wine bottle at a girl. What a thug. Some people go through their entire lives only being arrested once or twice. I’ve heard that some people are even never arrested. That thug has got the shittiest luck! ---

Sometimes thugs throw heavy objects at women, sometimes they stalk and murder teenage boys. Thugs are unpredictable. ---

I thought your point was that witness testimony _must be disregarded_ for claims of self-defense of the accused says it was self-defense, at least if the witnesses were friends with the deceased. ---

This is going to end one of two ways. Either some judge is going to get pissed off at this moron the next time he appears for sentencing, and give him the max, or some bigger idiot is going to smack him back to last week, permanently. Zimmerman is a total loser, a waste of carbon and oxygen. ---

I don’t have a very high opininion of Zimmerman. However, bringing up bullshit like traffic violations does his detractors in this thread no favors. ---

What you think doesn’t really matter, to be honest, when the facts say otherwise. Charges dropped, charges dropped, found not guilty, traffic ticket, charges dropped… See a pattern there? You appear to be the one with the selective blindness, although you’re not alone in this thread. But humour me. What evidence do you have that he didn’t shoot Martin in self defence? The standard is proving it beyond reasonable doubt, but I’d settle for any actual evidence. Certainly there was nothing at the trial. ---

Since this is not a court of law, and not a trial, I can say what I think and what I suspect, based on what I interpret as the guy’s history and “life pattern” in which he has a long string of violent altercations (even with police) and yet somehow manages to skate all the time, and ALWAYS claims self defense. Is it coincidence that many others seem to think the same way, including many news outlets of NOT the same political leanings? But what you think doesn’t mean a damn thing to me. So I suppose we are even there. In the shooting case, all he had to do was keep his stupid ass in his truck. That is ALL the dumb fvck had to do. ---

The “life pattern” - which, as I’ve pointed out, is a pattern of _not_ actually having used violence despite others claims - is irrelevant. If you were correct about him being violent in the past, it has no bearing on any individual case. That he’s not, in fact, been violent in the past has no bearing on any future case. What matters is what you can prove, or even have evidence for. You have, literally, no _reason_ to think he’s guilty of murdering Martin. What you have is an opinion based solely on emotion, and that is utterly worthless. ---

Whether it has any bearing on any one individual case, is how assholes like that can get away with it repeatedly. How many of us have multi-year list of altercations, accusations, charges (skated out or not) and a corpse in our past? I’m sure the whole world keeps accusing him because they were just bored or something. I predict there is another killing somewhere in his future. ---

The only one, based on the facts, that he could be considered to have got away with is pushing the police officer, and even then he didn’t get off scot-free, but doesn’t have a criminal record. There may well be another killing in his future. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone having read the sort of lies you’re spreading tries to kill him. Hopefully they won’t succeed, and Zimmerman will again defend himself. Do you really have no idea how fucking _obscene_ it is to brand someone a murderer when the evidence clearly shows they’re not? Or does it just not bother you? ---
