When the rest of the outstanding votes are added, Ossoff will take a respectable lead. He’s now behind by only about 2,000. ETA: Oops. Some number was incorrectly input. Ossoff is actually down by about 19,000. ---

Seems to me over the past decade, Republicans have been shielded by McConnell from having to vote against massively popular progressive proposals. They’re gonna lose that shield. If Democrats play this well, either there’ll be a new spirit of bipartisanship, or else Republicans are going to have an ugly-as-shit voting record to run on in 2022. ---
