[CNN’s front page](http://www.cnn.com/) has the headline “Former President Ford in hospital after golfing scare.” Huh? That was two years ago, wasn’t it? ---

I heard somewhere Ford will be buried in Grand Rapids when he dies. If that’s true we could be in for a spectacle. ---

I was thinking this year, that is Ford died, and then Bush senior, and then Jimmy Carter (they are elderly), Clinton would be the only ex president alive. ---

I believe that the last time that happened was in the Nixon administration when LBJ died. If I’m not mistaken, the record for most living ex-presidents is 5, set in the Lincoln administration (VanBuren, Tyler, Fillmore, Pierce, and Buchanan) and tied by none other than George W Bush (Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton).
