Geraldo Rivera has a commercial for presumably his show in which he claims that there are people somewhere who love him. Do you love him, or have you ever met or heard rumors of anybody who loves him? I’d put this in Cafe Society, but this is a poll.

Nope.
And given the one rock special I saw on TV where they were talking about Geraldo and Mick Jagger having been a thing, I can tell you that there are at least several ex-Stones fans among the workers of my old company who are probably none-too pleased with the mental image of Bushy-Lipped Geraldo.

I never “loved” him, but I did like him back when he was first starting out. He seemed honest and genuine and sympathetic and funny, back in the (?) 70’s. Did he have a breakdown or something?

I used to like Geraldo, and I definitely lusted after him when both of us were younger, but I never felt anything resembling love.

In all fairness, when he was very young, he brought the [Willowbrook State School](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willowbrook_State_School) situation to a wide audience by bringing in cameras. It was one of the most shocking news stories and really brought investigative journalism to the forefront. Additionally, he kept in touch with some of the students he encountered in the hellish environment.
That’s one admirable action in a professional life dominated by jackassery and self-promotion.

I like him. Love sounds too gay, but he’s OK in my book. I’d say he has more journalistic integrity the Bill O’Reilly, whom some people can stomach.
