# German Speaking USA

According to the book “Native Tongues” by Charles Berlitz, German was within one vote of being adopted as the offical language of the USA. This took place at the Continental Congress at Philadelphia during the Revolution. How do you think the course of history would have changed if this had happened.

I should have known with information coming from Charles Berlitz ,especially after the Bermuda Triangle mis-information.
