Germany got full blame for World War I: I don't see it.

Keep in mind too that during his birth, not only was Willy’s arm injured, but he was also without oxygen and had to be revived-and it’s thought he suffered brain damage.

Puh-Lease! What are you, some kind of “Doctor for dead people?”

wink wink

is there any good evidence for the “brain damage” theory?

I don’t know whether there was any brain damage.

However he was the first Hohenzollern prince ever to attend public school at least part of the time. The whole idea wasn’t really a success for various reasons but it is well-documented that he was an average to mediocre student at a top-of-the-line school - nothing impressive but certainly not significantly mentally deficient either.

The physical injury was obvious. If promoting an aggressive foreign policy and behaving like an impulsive jerk at times connotes brain injury, we’ve had a lot of brain-damaged leaders. :dubious:

No, I’m relying on reports from the doctors who attended his birth. His attitudes were NOT a sign of a brain injury-however, it could have been an explanation. The guy wasn’t evil so much as he simply had some serious issues and a disastrous upbringing.

And like I said, had his father lived, who knows how the course of history would have turned out?
