# Get a $3 movie ticket for almost any movie theater, almost any movie, in the US on September 3 for National Cinema Day

National Cinema Day is Saturday, September 3, and most major cinemas and most major picture studios are collaborating to provide $3 movie tickets for any show. At least at Regal Cinemas, possibly among others, you can upgrade to advanced formats for no additional cost.

So me, my mother, and my landlady’s son are going to see _Top Gun: Maverick_ on Saturday. It would probably be a good time for me to watch the first one, which I’ve never seen.

Hm, I already got my full price tickets for Saturday to see Jaws in Imax. I’m OK with that.
