What if you started the engine and put the heater on full blast and left it idle for twenty minutes on high heat. I’d think that mouse would say “Crap, I was better off in that Saab.”
Hmm, I never tried the jelly bean idea. What’s the best flavor ? I recommend the Victor brand of trap, they work the best and are USA made. Peanut butter is good for bait but don’t just spread it on the trigger. Wrap a few turns of twine on the trigger first and tie a knot. Clip off the loose ends and spread a little peanut butter on the twine. The twine gives 'em something to chew on and makes it more likely they’ll trip the trap. The “snap” traps are reusable, I don’t think you can strip a mouse off the glue traps and reuse them. Very wasteful! I’ve got one trap I call “Old Sparky” that I’ve caught over a dozen with. Just remember, mice are vermin, pestilence, and they will chew the wiring in the car. Oh, one more thing, I’d recommend putting the trap on the floor of the car on a piece of plywood or something so you don’t mess up the carpet.
