I don’t get it either. Unless the cat saying “Booger” is just supposed to be some kind of nonspecific threat/expression of general animosity?
Maybe the cat wanted to take a bath and was disappointed that the dog was already in there? Wait, that makes no sense. Cats hate baths.
OK, my best guess is that it’s a lead-in to some plot line that’s going to continue tomorrow.

Personally, I’m going to go with “Bucky (like all cats) is insane, and therefore often doesn’t make any sense”. _Get Fuzzy_ uses that a lot.

I have to go along with Palooka. I don’t think the cat is using the usual meaning of “booger”, which is to express annoyance. In this case he’s probably using the more obscure meaning, which is to accuse the other being a liar. Perhaps the dog has in the past expressed his hatred of baths, because it’s just a dog-like thing to do. That would probably explain the expression of his face in the last panel.

do you have a siamese? they are a completely different sort of cat. kinda like the difference between women and southern women.
i think that bucky wanted to “do something” to the bathroom or tub, and was foiled by satchel in the tub.

I was trying to remember what the strip was on March 4, until I realized you meant yesterday, April 3! That, combined with your user name, makes me think you’re either Canadian or British.
(When I was injured on vacation in the U.K., the nice ambulance lady asked me my birthdate. I automatically said, “11/10/1960”, so they have me on record as being born on October 11 instead of November 10. Most amusing.)
As for the strip – not a clue. But to quote Bucky, “You guys ever scratch yourself so long you forget what day it is?” Words of wisdom.

The date format only reveals he’s not American - only the US uses the MM/DD/YYYY format.

Oh, don’t even try to pretend that there is any standard in date formats when the date is written as numbers. There isn’t. We need some kind of benevolent dictator for this who shall make a decree that the date shall be written thusly, and everybody who writes it differently will be summarily executed.

Oh, the OP - sorry, forgot in all my lathered-up ranting. “Get Fuzzy” can be a little hit-and-miss, even for those of us with cats. A comic I have really been enjoying lately is “A Case In Point” - when I get it, it’s hysterical, but it can be quite obscure.
