**Zappo** hasn’t posted here all that much lately, but I have met him IRL, and he’s a real sweetie. I think **Ms Robyn** was trying to put together a Pa get-together, but I don’t know what became of it. As for meeting us for real, newbie or not, I think as a whole we’re a benign group. I’ve been to three group Doper events and three one-on-one meetings and there was no bloodshed or ritual sacrifice. You need to keep an eye out for MAD events - Mid-Atlantic Dopers. Oh, and congrats on finding the dress! 😃 ---

Now, now, **Ellen** , _of course_ you’re beautiful and sexy. It goes without saying. And I’ve only got a **Rue** tiara. I had been using **Winter** off and on as a user ID, but it was becoming too popular and I was having trouble getting it. Then I was using **Winterthyme** , but it was just a little too “birkenstocks-and-granola” for me (that’s what I get for stealing it from my sister!). I love William Gibson, and thought **Wintermute** was cool back when I first read _Neuromancer_, so it seemed like a good compromise. But I have been considering asking the admins to change it. I don’t really care if you know I’m female, but I worry it implies something I’m not. I have been thinking about **Rebecca de Winter** because then I could give my location as “Manderley”, and that would be cool. And, I could sign my name “R de W”. And, it’s one of my favorite movies. And, it’s my name IRL. Well, not the whole thing. ---

Now I just want to say, in case anybody thought that I was being sarcastic, that **Elle** n is a truly beautiful and intelligent person; I’ve MobileDoped with her, so I speak from experience. And **Lissla** (the Sibilant One) is looking pretty cute in both pics, not just the one for fishing. And now that I know the difference, I’ll probably never mistake **R de W** for a man again. [sub] **swampbear here… back from Jacksonville** [/sub] Let’s see… parachutes, belly dancers, the perfect wedding dress, ABBA and gay men trapped in women’s bodies. Yep… I found the **Rue** thread alright. The big news from **swampbearland** this week is… I met **FairyChatMom!!!** (She’s a real cheap date by the way.) It was fun! We went to this really neat fish camp. The scallops were oh so superb! We hugged! We laughed! I saw Green Cove Springs and other houses where she actually lived! I petted her dog’s butt even! **FCM’s** dog has a real thing for having her butt petted. I even got to see **FCM’s** home and sit on her living room sofa! (Well, loveseat actually.) Envy me everyone! **HAH!** Oh, and **Ex** … even though she was willing, I told **FCM** the hug was ok, but I’m saving the kiss with tongue til I meet **YOU** personally. 😛 Oh and other good news… I get to meet even more dopers in June! We’re having a dopefest in Live Oak, Florida! They’re letting this south Jawja doper join em even. I even offered a dollar to the first doper to supersoak **FCM**.
