While I’m sure your bogan lawyers have wonderfully eloquent and persuasive arguments, cut the bullshit. You do not. Please get over yourself. If I recall correctly, he is an intellectual property attorney (as am I) and knows what he is talking about. Even if he doesn’t 😉 , his post [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=5928605&postcount=10) pretty much nails it. McDonalds isn’t really able ignore things that might dilute their mark and their bloodymindeness about the whole affair seems like they (or at least their attorneys) enjoy the process to boot. cj ---

There’s a burger joint in a town out in Panama’s boondocks called _McPato’s_ (McDuck’s). Their logo is a Disney-type duck that resembles one of Donald’s nephews. It has always amused me that they had the temerity to imitate on not one but two of the most rottweilerlike companies in the world in defense of their corporate identities. I’m sure they’ve only been able to get away with it because they’re so far off the beaten track. What I would _really_ like to see, however, is Disney suing Mickey D’s over the rights to the name “Donald.” ---
