I’d say The Pit. I liked the “classic” Pit, but now the rules are confusing. Nothing to temper recreational outrage like rules confusion. Also, it would be nice to see sports out of The Game Room, maybe into MPSIMS. 😉 ---

While I voted in the poll, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest that others enjoy forums where I spend little or no time. The lack of interest in SD Chicago and The Barn House is kind of embarassing though; maybe they should be put out of their misery. ---

So when Mohamed Massaquoi got brained by James Harrison during the Steelers-Browns game, that was merely Massaquoi giving the performance of a lifetime as a concussed athlete? ---

No, but getting injured is not one of his job duties. It’s just something that happens. You don’t ask why soldiers aren’t soldiering when they’re receiving medical attention after being shot, do you? ---

I think you are using a different definition of performance. Athletes are performers in that if it weren’t for the people watching them they wouldn’t have a job. Sure, they play a sport, but they play because of the crowd. They are performers the way that Gladiators were performers, or (in modern times) musicians are performers; they exist because people want to watch them do what they do. ---

I have nothing against the game room, I just seldom personally have a use for it. Second choice would be the Pit, but I do think it serves a useful purpose in cases where a smack down is needed.
