No, not a note. Which leads to all kinds of annoyances, as Hollywood has taught the Thais that all Americans burst into song at the drop of a hat. Many’s the time I’m asked to sing a song for a group of people, even in nightclubs! I’m considered a grump when I don’t, but they’d be thankful if they ever heard me. Do you still live within 100 miles of where you were born? ---

I had to read someone’s deposition (I think). This was a long time ago, so I don’t remember the exact circumstances, but my boss asked me to go to court and read some statements for a witness who could not be present for some reason. So not really testifying, but on the stand nonetheless. Ever swallowed something disgusting by mistake? (Bug, tobacco spit, etc.) ---
