Today’s a bank holiday in at least all the Nordic countries. It’s called second day of Easter and most everyone gets off. So you don’t get Dec. 26. off either? ---

No. Boxing Day as a holiday dates from after the American Revolution, which is why Britain and Canada have it and we don’t. I assume the Icelandic/Nordic version is related. Some government offices and the like were closed for Good Friday (like Florida administrative courts, woot!) so I had Friday off. Does your country have an Independence Day (or National Day or other equivalent)? ---

Yes. I don’t even know what my home phone number _is_. We only use it for burglar alarm monitoring, and because it more or less came free with our cable/internet package. Do you replace your cellphone too often? ---
