Yes. Some books are either useless (aged reference books) or junk. Do you have good teeth? ---

No, though I’ve seen a couple of hypnotism stage shows. Do people have trouble spelling your name? ---

Yes! Very much so, when I’m abroad. PC or Mac? ---

Yes. (PC at work, Mac at home) Do you know all the words to the first verse of “The Star-Spangled Banner”? ---

Nope. But I do know the entire Icelandic national anthem, and the first verse of the Swedish one. So I’m pretty safe. Do you eat breakfast? ---

Other than a glass of orange juice, usually no. Got anything cool planned for this weekend? ---

> [@Siam\_Sam](#): > > Did you ever own a black-and-white television set? Yes, my family had one until I was about twelve years old, and I later bought one for my college dorm room. That one’s probably still at my parents’ house. It worked fine last time I used it, but the switch from analog to digital broadcasting means that the old Zenith will probably never be turned on again. Did you ever send or receive a telegram? ---

No. Do you wish you rode for the Pony Express? ---

No. I’m allergic to horses. Did you consider attending one of the teabag protests? ---

No, although I saw one downtown from my office window. I’d guesstimate there were 300-400 people there. Do you agree with Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. that “taxes are the price we pay for civilization”? ---

> [@Elendil\_s\_Heir](#): > > Do you agree with Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. that “taxes are the price we pay for civilization”? Nah. Reality TV is the price we pay for civilization. Taxes are the price we pay for effective government. Do you feel somehow connected to any particular historical figure? ---

Not one in particular, but I do feel a connection to the vikings. Do you take offence if someone makes a joke at your expense? ---

No. Only seen them in old movies. We did do tornado drills, though, in the small Ohio public school I went to. How old were you when you first learned about the Holocaust? ---

I have no idea. Maybe 6, 8 ? I really don’t remember. I do remember getting physically ill from watching a documentary about it when I was 12. Schindler’s List is fucking tame compared to those archive vids. And there was the high school trip to Sachsenhausen when I was 16, too. Ever had an homosexual experience (or a hetero one if you’re gay) ? ---

I’ve kissed a few guys, but girls kiss better for my taste. Have you been around the world? ---

No. Furthest away from the US I’ve been is Hawaii (West) and the Bahamas (East) and for North and South I haven’t been above or below California… Are you athletic?
