Yes, especially Heineken, Dos Equis, Kirin and Moosehead. Some microbreweries’ stuff, too. Do you have something else you really ought to be doing now? ---

Of course! Do you like dark/heavy beers? ETA: The “of course” was a response to **WTR**. To **EH** : yes, working. 😉 ---

> [@Really\_Not\_All\_That\_Bright](#): > > Of course! > > Do you like dark/heavy beers? Yes. But I used to like dark beers better than I do now; they’re not my first choice anymore. Still like a fairly strong alcohol content, though. Do you sport facial hair? ---

> [@Siam\_Sam](#): > > Do you sport facial hair? Yes, I have a beard and mustache. Did you (or are you planning to) watch tonight’s final of the “_Jeopardy!_ College Championship”? ---

No. I rarely follow Jeopardy, or any other TV show for that matter. I only turn my TV on a few times per week, if that. Do you like MMA over boxing? ---

No. Don’t care about either. Have you seen the new _Star Trek_ yet (as I did tonight, and really liked it)? ---

I like both, but prefer soft. And just had two tonight, coincidentally enough! Any big plans for the weekend? ---

Tomorrow morning I will attend friend’s college graduation. That’s about all that is planned. Do you have any unusual phobias? ---
**Author:** ![Elendil\_s\_Heir](https://avatars.discourse-cdn.com/v4/letter/e/7cd45c/32.png) [@Elendil\_s\_Heir](https://boards.straightdope.com/u/Elendil_s_Heir)\ **Post date:** [May 16, 2009, 1:04pm UTC](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/get-to-know-each-other/489836/850 "2009-05-16T13:04:10Z")
No. I don’t like snakes or big spiders much, but I’m not phobic, exactly. Have you ever owned a snake? ---

Have you ever been trapped in a house, or neighborhood (as is currently the case with me) because the only road(s) out is (are) flooded? ---

Yes, if flooded with snow counts! DO you enjoy musical theater? ---

A couple of shows (G&S, _1776_ and _Fiddler on the Roof_, especially), but I don’t make a habit of it. Would you see a good movie in a theater every other night if you could? ---

Yes. We love the cinema experience and try to go at leat once a week. (We saw _Star Trek_ this weekend and liked it.) Do you make pancakes at home often? ---

Yes, probably every two weeks or so. With either Vermont or Ohio maple syrup, and my boys love bacon with it by the boxcar load. Do you have a firearm in your house? ---

Nope, unless you count the one my son made from K’Nex and shoots little K’nex pieces… Di you graduate college? ---

Yes. I was on the Five Year Plan, but I started when I was 16 so it was okay. Have you ever owned a skateboard? ---

Yes. But never got the hang of it. Do you use a bicycle for day to day business? ---

No, just for riding around the neighborhood. Love it. Do you like President Obama? ---
