I caught campylobacter once, no fun. Anything that reduces the risk of that makes sense to me. Just say no to asses on shared resaurant tables even if the kid is just sitting on it . I worked in restaurants, tables aren’t sanitized they’re just wiped down. The restaurant I worked in would of told the parent to take their kid off the table and keep him/her in the high chair. Don’t like it ? No soup for you get out. ---

Reasonable people would interpret this as you thinking it’s OK to change a baby where food is prepared, which is obviously pretty stupid and something that you’re now denying. Situations like this make it **appear** that you take deliberately antagonistic and unsupportable positions in arguments and then back off and lie about your original meaning. Obviously, that would be douchebag behavior, and since you’re not a douchebag, I thought you might want to know what’s making people think you are one. ---

Where do you all live that you are seeing all these diaper-only clad children sitting on tables? I can’t recall ever seeing that in a public eatery. Is it a southern thing? I also got the sense that the open did not mean soiled, but rather had a hyper dainty impression of any children wearing diapers. What about teenage girls sitting on tables? I’ve seen that way more often. Is that an epidemic too? ---
