Are there people out there you can call that will fix a sagging leather couch on site? I’ve tried Google with no luck at all. I assume there must be?

I have an old leather couch and one cushion (middle) is starting to sag pretty bad. I know that some couch types are relatively easy to fix DIY, but I have a feeling this one may require some special know how. But either way, I’m now just really curious about this.

So, is there a name for furniture repair people, other than those dealing with antiques or other really high priced repair? Would someone come to your house and fix it?

What you’re looking for is an upholsterer. For a sofa, some will pick it up, but be prepared to pay for that.

Depending on what’s failed, an in-home repair may not be feasible, either for needing equipment or just for needing more than one day to accomplish.
