I really apologize if I broke any rules by allowing my husband to post under my name, and for any confusion that resulted. That said, I’d like to know what the rule is about two usernames that have the same e-mail account-- for some reason, I thought this was considered trolling. Would it be possible to give him his own name, though we share the same e-mail? Thank you. ---

The board software does not allow for two screen names to share the same e-mail address. On the other hand, we don’t want two different people to share a screen name because of the potential for confusion. It is perfectly OK for a husband and wife to both post at a message board. If both want to register, one of the two can sign up for another e-mail address somewhere (or ask your ISP if they can provide you with a second e-mail address) and then register his/her own name at the message board. ---

BTW, **Lissa** , it’s not as if he posted under your name and didn’t identify himself. So at least there was no deception or confusion regarding the post I saw… ---

This truly is no biggie; we have quite a few “multi-Doper” households that’ve needed a little help sorting out the identity thing. It’s just kind of a housekeeping thing, so folks can keep straight who’s talking. Hope neither of you take this to heart overmuch. It’s just taking a few steps to work out a niggle. Veb
