My daughter/housemate’s friend has a [litter](http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/redeclectic/image1%201_zpseg33bbzm.jpg) of [pups](http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/redeclectic/image3%201_zpsflopwnzb.jpg) and we are smitten. Roxy, the mama dog, is a malamute/shepherd mix and the purported father is a Golden Retriever. Our [girls](http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/redeclectic/image1_zps241cxyfn.jpg) come home in a couple of weeks. My [girl](http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/redeclectic/image2_zpsliarkupl.jpg) loves to sleep in the flowers; my daughter’s [pup](http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/redeclectic/image4_zpstgicmwfn.jpg) prefers to sleep on her back and get belly rubs. We haven’t chosen names yet, though Luka is a front-runner for my [pup](http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/redeclectic/image2%201_zpslbuliv7i.jpg). I’m paying part of Roxy’s spay fee so there will be no future litters. And of course our girls will be spayed as soon as they are old enough. We are very excited. ---

Good on you for the spaying part! I have a habit of doing the internal _groan_ when I hear about random puppies, but you’re doing right by them. They really are darned cute! Thanks for giving a good home and being a guardian for the mama dog. Many years of happy companionship for you all! ---

Really like the looks or ‘Luka.’ One of the blonds also has a look that to me says smart, strong and fun. Good job and more pictures as you go along please. ---
