Advertising is strictly and expressly forbidden on this message board. I routinely remove such postings, it’s one of my first priorities. If you want to advertise, you’re gonna have to pay. There’s a reason for this. Look at just about ANY unmoderated newsgroup. The spam pretty much makes the newsgroups unreadable now. By the way, as a general rule, if a new poster starts such a thread (one that’s pure advertisement), I usually just yank posting privileges, I don’t issue any warnings. Consider yourself lucky. You should also consider yourself lucky in that I was and am replying as a staff member, instead of as another poster, so I am not using the language that I would prefer. I think there is a typo in the OP that has lead to a general misunderstanding about **Studoggie** ’s intentions. I’m pretty sure the first sentence should read “I posted I was _a counting_ student looking for a summer job…” You see, he finally finished the second grade and is ready to finally get a job and move out of mom and dad’s basement. I think we should all be a little more supportive. There aren’t many jobs that will meet **Studoggie** ’s “special needs”, and we should give him all the help we can to find one. Maybe he could be the guy who stands by the donut conveyer at Krispy Kreme and picks out all the squashed ones. No, cancel that – he might touch the other donuts too.
