Mudgirl managed to find that one little patch of mud in an otherwise dry park. It was warm and dry that day too, as I recall. If there’s mud to be found, she’ll find it. Heavy on the nuts, though. I have no car for the weekend, mine is in the shop and my in-laws have returned from their vacation so theirs goes back to them today. Just as well, since i’ll probably end up working anyway. Stupid job. ---

A leash is recommended. Given that we are sharing the park with others, my comments are offered as an advisory so everyone has an enjoyable experience. ---

No problem, **dances** , we _always_ take the pups out on leashes. Maryland law – at least in our county – only allows them to be off-leash in designated off-leash areas or when “training.” We do take Isaac off-leash to throw his toy for him to retrieve, since that is how we reinforce his good behavior, but that’s only for that limited purpose and then he’s right back on. But there’s nothing saying the dogs can’t go into a mud puddle while leashed. Just try 'em. 😃 ---
