I work in an upscale, outdoor shopping center. The store next to mine is tiny and has been unoccupied for well over a year. There is a sign for Prudential and a phone number if you want to rent it. When I came into work Tuesday there was a giant cardboard cutout chicken with a blinking red LED light for an eye. I know for a fact that nobody has signed a lease agreement. It is still there today, Saturday. My only thought is that this thing somehow is able to count walk-by traffic so a potential lessor will know what kind of traffic this store front gets, but that is just a wild guess. I am also a little afraid of the giant blinking red eye chicken. What could be the purpose of this cardboard cutout chicken overlord? ---

Does the chicken look like a cyborg? Maybe its the chicken from the introduction of Robot Chicken. I believe that chicken has one laser eye. ---
