Are the writers fiction or non-fiction? If the latter, the AP style guide is useful, since many magazines and even on-line sites use it.
Fiction. But that is a good gift idea. I have a friend who does fiction and also non-fiction blog articles on prehistoric animals.
Okay. My wife is a writer, and I don’t buy her writing related stuff very much. The closest thing was a clip for her monitor so she could have papers she was using at eye level. There used to be Writer’s Market books, with lists of agents, but now all that stuff is on line.
The only other thing I get her is an auto mileage book, since if your friends make any money writing mileage to your meetings is deductible. But that is a pretty feeble gift.
You need to buy your wife one of those bracelets stat.
