As far as questioning her any more when she comes to get her stuff, I would suggest no. I doubt any good will come from it. It’s going to be extremely tense anyways, no need to rub salt in each other’s wounds. As for the future, it’s going to suck a lot for a while. Waking up alone, seeing couples at the park, hearing a mutually loved song on the radio, etc… it’s all going to reopen that feeling of hurt. But (and it’s a big but), it does get better with time. Kurdt, Sorry about the girl troubles, but I’m with Jodi on this. Right now, you want closure, later on though, that closure could turn into a debilitating self doubt. Of course the usual applies here, “there are other fish in the sea” “Time will heal” and all that rot, but above all, this is a learning experience. You’ve got to see it that way, or it can drive you barking mad. Let it hurt, but don’t let it consume you, because it will, without any reservation. Most importantly though, regarding the folks on the board who are ripping you… From what I’ve seen of your posts, you’re reaping what you’ve sewn. Much as it pissed you off to have others bust your balls, you’ve got a chance to use this as another lesson, perhaps being less of a hothead, will allow you to better deal with whatever caused your current chick problems.
