**kimera** , men can sense what you want to hear, and will usually supply that answer. It’s not lying, not really, it’s more like not wanting to offend. Make some cookies one day, and make them _slightly_ nasty, then take them to these same guys (sic) and ask how they taste. Moreso, make a fuss about how hard you worked on them. Then ask “I’ve already gotten way too fat eating these things”. We can’t help it. It’s in our genes to help us propogate. 😉 I’m a man, and I’ve known thousands of men, and I can’t think of one (hetro) who doesn’t like to be referred to as a man. I do know a born male who is trying very hard to be a woman, and she insists on being called “girl”. But she missed out on her girlhood. ---
