Pie Jesu Domine, Dona eis requiem. ‘O sweet Lord Jesus, Grant them rest.’

Only I don’t speak Latin, so I assumed it was ‘O sweet Lord Jesus, _Give it a rest!_’ – which I think would be funnier.

So how is ‘Give it a rest!’ said in Latin?

Don’t have an answer for you but a related question to the latin experts: I thought Pie meant blessed or maybe pious, not sweet?
